1. Different concepts

Compared with other metals, zinc is a relatively cheap and easily plated metal. It is a low-value anti-corrosion electroplating layer and is widely used to protect steel parts, especially to prevent atmospheric corrosion, and for decoration.

2. The process is different

Hot-dip galvanizing process: finished product pickling-washing-adding auxiliary plating solution-drying-rack plating-cooling-chemical treatment-cleaning-polishing-hot-dip galvanizing completed.

Electro-galvanizing process: chemical degreasing-hot water washing-water washing-electric degreasing-hot water washing-water washing-strong corrosion-water washing-electrogalvanized iron alloy-water washing-water washing-light emitting-passivation-water washing-drying.

3. Different processes

There are many processing techniques for hot-dip galvanizing. After the work piece is degreasing, pickling, dipping, drying and other processes, it can be immersed in the molten zinc bath. After a certain period of time, it can be put forward. This is hot-dip galvanizing. Some hot-dip pipe fittings are processed in this way.

Electrolytic zinc is processed by electrolytic equipment. After degreasing, pickling, etc., it is immersed in a solution containing zinc salt, connected to the electrolytic equipment, and deposited on the workpiece during the directional movement of the positive and negative electrodes. .

4. Different appearance

The overall appearance of hot-dip galvanizing is slightly rougher, and will produce process water lines, dripping tumors, etc., especially at one end of the workpiece, which is silver-white as a whole. The electro-galvanized surface is smoother, mainly yellow-green, and of course there are also colorful, bluish-white, and white with green light. The entire workpiece basically does not appear zinc tumors or agglomeration.
